MISSION STATEMENT

The SouthShore Arts Council has been formed to promote and nurture the practice of the arts in southern Hillsborough County. The council will support and encourage and promote, to the greatest degree possible, activities in the visual arts, music, theater, dance, film and literature in this region. Educational activities in the arts will be supported and encouraged, and the council will strive to expand learning opportunities in the arts for people of all ages."
